Many thanks to the attendees, volunteers,
sponsors, and others who helped make this years' NCGLFF a
success. This site will remain active with information about
the festival for this year, and will be archived when information
about next years' festival is available.

On August 8-11, 2002, the spotlight will
focus on Durham, North Carolina, and the historic Carolina
Theatre in downtown Durham at the 7th Annual North Carolina
Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
Promising to be our biggest festival yet, the NCGLFF will
feature 102 features, shorts, documentaries, and experimental
films in 54 possible viewing opportunities for festival attendees!
The number of movies programmed is 30 more than last year's
festival! The NCGLFF will include 86 North Carolina premieres
this year as well as two world-premieres. We are excited by
this opportunity to debut outstanding new films at The Carolina
Theatre as part of the film festival and should be seen as
a boon for queer cinema in the Southeast.
